Harden and Westbrook Struggle as Lakers Take Commanding 3-2 Lead
In a pivotal Game 5 of their Western Conference Semifinals series, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets 119-96 at the AdventHealth Arena in Orlando.
LeBron James Dominates
LeBron James was unstoppable for the Lakers, leading all scorers with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists. James was efficient from the field, shooting 10-of-18, and also contributed 3 steals and 2 blocks. His all-around performance kept the Rockets at bay throughout the game.
Rockets' Struggles Continue
The Rockets struggled to keep pace with the Lakers' offensive firepower. James Harden and Russell Westbrook, Houston's star duo, combined for just 41 points on 15-of-39 shooting. Harden, in particular, was off-target, hitting only 4 of 11 field goal attempts.
Lakers Take Command
