Alexander Zverev was forced to retire from his Roland Garros semi-final against Rafael Nadal after suffering a horrific-looking ankle injury.

Zverev was leading Nadal 7-6(8) 6-6 when he appeared to twist his right ankle awkwardly while attempting a forehand. He immediately collapsed to the ground in pain and was unable to continue.
The German received medical attention on the court, before being carried off on a stretcher in tears.
Nadal Reaches Another Final
Nadal took full advantage of Zverev's misfortune to reach his 14th Roland Garros final.
The Spaniard will now face either Casper Ruud or Marin Cilic in the final on Sunday.
