Early voting in Texas begins on Tuesday, October 21st. You can vote early at any designated early voting location in your county. What Do I Need to Bring to Vote?

You must bring a valid form of photo identification with you to vote early. The ID must be current and have your name and photo on it. Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • Texas ID card
  • U.S. military ID card
  • U.S. passport
  • Texas concealed handgun license

What If I Have a Disability?

If you have a disability that prevents you from voting in person, you may be eligible to vote by mail. To request a mail-in ballot, you must submit an application to your county election administrator. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 28th.

On Election Day, you may also vote in person at a designated accessible voting location. To find your nearest accessible voting location, please contact your local county election administrator.
